The Council has no Climate Adaptation Officer.  However, issues relating to climate change are considered within most service areas with climate change considerations a requirement of any decision being taken.  As a result a significant number of officers have responsibility as part of their duties although this is unquantifiable as a salary cost.  The authority does employ a Sustainable Development Officer who coordinates the preparation of Climate Change Strategy.  Although not the sole responsibility of that officer, the salary range is PO1 – 29,528 – 32,072 pro-rata for 0.61 full time equivalent (to two decimal places) but this cannot be taken as the total cost for any officers with climate change adaptation as part of their work, the information for which is not held
