Council and private sector tenants are being invited to a special event on Thursday, September 14.
Charnwood Borough Council has organised a Tenant Networking Event at Loughborough Town Hall.
Council tenants will be able to meet officers, ask questions and find out more about the services available such as how to access advice on managing money and dealing with anti-social behaviour.
For people who rent privately, they can talk to the Council’s private sector housing team who can answer questions about poor conditions and issues such as damp, mould and fire safety. They can also help in cases where a landlord is not carrying out repairs.
The event will take place in the Victoria Room at Loughborough Town Hall between 10am and 1pm and is open to anyone who is a borough council or private sector tenant.
A Charnwood Borough Council spokesman said: “We are always interested in hearing from tenants and any issues they may have and we can also offer help and support to people who rent privately.
“If you have any questions and want to find out more about our services, please come along.”
