Businesses in Charnwood are being encouraged to sign up for a free event in November to help them become more energy efficient.
Charnwood Borough Council is working in partnership with The Carbon Trust Business Fund, an energy efficiency support service for small to medium sized companies.
The free workshop will help business owners understand and reduce their energy bills through behavioural and low cost measures and provide information on how to access funding.
Cllr Eric Vardy, lead member for planning, inward investment and tourism strategy at the Council, said “This is a great opportunity for our small and medium sized businesses in Charnwood to ensure their companies are as efficient as possible when it comes to their energy use.
“The workshop will help businesses understand how to reduce their energy bills and look at the major areas of energy consumption in SMEs. Businesses will also have the chance to find out how to access funding and free one to one site audits.”
The Green Business Fund workshop will take place at the Council Chamber in the Loughborough Town Hall on Wednesday 14 November 2018, 9am-12pm.
