A briefing session is being held for prospective candidates in the Loughborough and Charnwood parliamentary constituencies in the forthcoming General Election on Thursday, December 12.
Charnwood Borough Council is organising the session, which is also for agents, and it will be held in the Council offices in Southfield Road, Loughborough on Monday, November 11, starting at 6pm.
The session will cover an overview of the election processes and arrangements. Candidate and agent nomination and support packs will be available after the session.
Rob Mitchell, Returning Officer, said: “The session will be a chance to find out more about the electoral process and speak to the officers who run the elections in Charnwood. I look forward to seeing people there.”
The deadline for nominations in the General Election is 4pm on November 14.
