First Hamilton Lea parish meeting

The first parish meeting for the newly-formed parish meeting of Hamilton Lea is being held tonight (January 28).

The parish was formed following a community governance review in 2018.

Parish meetings give residents in the parish an opportunity to discuss local issues. They are also a legally recognised and constituted body.

Hamilton Lea is on the edge of Hamilton and to take part you must live in the parish and be the electoral register with Charnwood.

The meeting is at 6pm at The White House (Wetherspoons – Normanton Suite) 375 Scraptoft Lane, Leicester, LE7 9SE.

All residents in the parish have been written to by the Council to inform them about the meeting.

The parish includes the following streets: Bickerton Close; Caterrick Way; Cornholme Drive; Cragg Vale Close; Filey Drive; Goldsborough Close; Hackness Road; Hebden Drive; Keld Drive; Langtoft Road; Laverton Road; Todmorden Close; Wadsworth Avenue.
