Residents and businesses in Shepshed are being invited to hear more about the Shepshed Town Centre Project through a virtual presentation next week.
Charnwood Borough Council has been working closely with the Shepshed Town Team, with support from Shepshed Town Council on the £1.2m project which will cover a range of public realm improvements in Bull Ring, Market Place, Field Street and Hall Croft.
The scheme has been informed by The Shepshed Town Centre Masterplan (2013) and will help make the areas more attractive for visitors and help boost trade of local shops and businesses.
Proposals for the scheme were revealed last month and over 250 residents have already had their say through the online survey.
In addition to the online survey we thought it may be useful for residents and businesses to hear about the proposals from council officers and Wood plc, the firm which has prepared the detailed scheme designs. There will be a short presentation followed by an opportunity for residents to ask questions.
If you’re interested, please sign up via the link below, and we’ll email you an invitation and instructions on how to join the Zoom meeting.
The meeting is planned for Thursday October 15 at 7pm.
