Residents in Charnwood attend service to commemorate Holocaust Memorial Day 2022

Residents in Charnwood remembered those who lost their lives during the Holocaust in an annual commemoration at Queen's Park, Lougborough. 

The event on Thursday January 27,2022, was attended by Mayor of Charnwood, Cllr Paul Baines, who read the Act of Commitment.

Leader of Charnwood Borough Council, Cllr Jonathan Morgan, also attended the service with both councillors laying a pebble as a mark of respect to those who have lost their lives during the Holocaust and other genocides.
