Video: Loughborough welcomes the Queen's Baton Relay to the town

The Queen's Baton Relay made its way through Queen's Park in Loughborough and the Market Place on Monday July 11.

Crowds gathered to see para-swimmer world record holder James Hollis, paralympic discus thrower Dan Greaves and paralympic volleyball player Emma Wiggs take the Baton through the iconic sporting town.

In this first video, hear from Cllr Jenny Bokor, lead member for Loughborough and Mayor of Charnwood, Cllr Jennifer Tillotson talk about the pride of welcoming the Baton to the town and how fantastic it was to see residents out enjoying the occasion.

In the second video, James Hollis, Batonbearer and para-swimmer world record holder talked about the pride of being a Batonbearer through Loughborough and the excitement of competing in the Commonwealth Games in his home nation.
