Thrills, spills and plenty of laughter is heading for Loughborough as the town gets ready to welcome Circus Cortex.
Southfields Park, which is operated by Charnwood Borough Council, will host Circus Cortex from Thursday October 13 to Monday October 17.
The circus will be running two shows a day and crowds can expect performances from acrobats skilled in parkour, tightrope and much more.
The circus includes several Ukrainian performers, some of whom fled the country after the war started.
Cllr Jenny Bokor, lead member for Loughborough, said: “We are all very excited to welcome Circus Cortex to Southfields Park.
“With a large number of the cast being Ukrainian, the story of Cortex Circus is very unique.
“We are pleased they have chosen to visit Loughborough and I would like to wish them the best of luck with their performances. I hope everyone attending has a fantastic time.”
For information and to book tickets for the performances, visit the Circus Cortex website.
Southfields Park will remain open to the public whilst the circus is in town.
The circus will be arriving at the park on around 2pm on Monday October 10.
The Council is encouraging anyone attending performances to park in the Beehive Lane multi-story car park.
Around 16 members of the Cortex Circus are Ukrainian and you can read more about their story on their website.
