Open Category winner Liz Dowding explaining she was delighted to have found out her photo had won

Three residents whose fabulous photos were chosen as the winning entries for the Council's outdoors photo competition have explained how it feels to have won and why they love the outdoors in Charnwood!

Ollie Boby's photo of remote control boats at Charnwood Water was selected as the winner of the Young Photographer category.

Iris Sayer from Newtown Linford's photo of a blue tit at Richardson's Meadow caught the judges eye and was awarded winner of the Wonderful Wildlife category.

Liz Dowding's early morning shot of Nanpantan Reservoir came top in the Open Category.
