Please note: This story has been updated to change the date of the Loughborough Town Hall networking event to Saturday 28 June. The original date was Saturday 19 July.
A series of networking and pop-up events for Council tenants and leaseholders have been confirmed for 2025.
Charnwood Borough Council has organised these events so that tenants and leaseholders can connect with Council officers, ask questions, and learn more about available services.
The first networking event of the year will take place at Shepshed Town Council offices on Tuesday, 11 March 2025, from 5-7pm.
This will be followed by the annual networking event at Loughborough Town Hall, which will take place on Saturday, 28 June 2025 from 10am until 2pm.
These events provide a space for tenants to engage with officers, access advice on managing finances, and discuss issues such as anti-social behaviour.
Attendees can also sign up for various services, groups, forums, and other community events.
In addition to formal networking events, pop-up events will be held in different areas across the borough. The Council’s customer engagement team will set up a gazebo in accessible locations, allowing tenants to drop by and speak with council officers and partner agencies.

“We have listened to requests to hold some of these events in the evening or at the weekend to give everyone an opportunity to attend.
“I encourage all tenants and leaseholders to come along and have their voices heard.”
