Thank you for joining us for a spectacular celebration weekend!

Celebrating Charnwood was an opportunity to experience the magic of the silver screen in the beautiful Southfields Park at our exciting outdoor cinema weekend event on Saturday June 29 and Sunday June 30.

There was a diverse lineup of blockbuster movies, family favorites and cult classics, delicious food, thrilling funfair rides, captivating performances, and so much more!

Plus, we celebrated the 50th anniversary of Charnwood Borough Council with special presentations and festivities.

We held a poll on social media to find out what films Charnwood residents wanted to see at the events. The winning films - which were showed over the two days - can be found below:

Armed Forces Day

Military personnel attended the event as part of Armed Forces Day 2024 on Saturday June 29. They were activities on both days and military vehicles were present for visitors to view.
