The Council is investing in a new fleet of refuse and recycling vehicles and young residents were asked to name them.

Name That Wagon gave young people a chance to tell us what they would name one of the new bin wagons.

We received over 150 name suggestions and the final 24 winning names were selected by a panel and have now been revealed. They will join Florence, who was named last year as a dedication to the NHS heroes and key workers who are on the front line supporting the public during the coronavirus pandemic. The vehicle also features a large rainbow on the side along with a thank you message.
