Heroes come in all forms and sometimes it is the small things people do which make a huge difference to those around them.

On Saturday September 14, Charnwood celebrated its 2019 Community Heroes.

The event, organised by Charnwood Borough Council, celebrated the many positive contributions made by people, groups and businesses in the borough.

They included people who are dedicated to helping scout groups, homeless people, the young and more mature, charities and many other local good causes.

The event was supported by John Storer Charnwood, EEM Ltd, Sure Maintenance, Fosse 107 and KangarooUK.
