Fri 13th October, 2017, 7:45pm

This is the first talk of the 2017-18 season for the Loughborough RSPB Group.

Most people would be surprised to think of Italy as a bird watching destination but it's actually very good.

The talk will cover some of the birds to be seen and we'll look at the work going on to protect those birds. We will also learn about the work of LIPU which is the BirdLife partner in Italy and is unusual in having a branch in this country.

David is the volunteer who has been looking after this branch since 1998 and he'll tell us all about it.

Have a look on the group's website for further information.

The talk will be held in Lecture Theatre U020, Brockington Building, Loughborough University, Epinal Way, Loughborough at 7.45pm.

Information about the work of the RSPB can be found on their website - http://www.rspb.org.uk
