Have you ever wanted to write for children or young adults, and don't know where to start? Then this workshop is for you! In the two hour session we'll look at what makes a great children's / young adult's book; what makes a compelling story, plot and character. We'll also take a look at some examples in different age groups and genres, before having a go with some writing exercises, touching on working with illustrators and getting your work published.

F.T. Gibbet is the creator of the SongStarz series of book, songs and musicals for schools (12+), and the Captain Marion series of books (8+). She lives with her cat, a fox and a family of squirrels in the Midlands.
