Leicester-Shire and Rutland Sport are looking to meet local businesses to share opportunities for them to access the following:
- We will outline our Wellbeing@Work support package, which includes a free (eligibility criteria applies) Workplace Health Needs Assessment (WHNA; Public Health England and Healthy Working Futures, 2017) to support businesses to gauge the wellbeing status of their employees as well as showcasing bespoke packages to help employers improve the wellbeing of their team and reap rewards such as increased productivity and reduced absenteeism.
- Your business will be fully supported to find out the needs of your team, explore potential solutions and begin action planning for the future. We will be able to share with you how this has been the catalyst to some unique strategic and operational workplace improvements, all aiming to improve the wellbeing of the workforce in it's broadest sense.
- If you run a business in the sport, fitness, physical activity or leisure sector come along and find out how you can access business support, connect with other businesses and networks which can help you reach your goals.
Plan for the morning:
8.00 am - arrival - tea/coffee and light refreshments
8.15 - 8.30 am - Introduction to the business case around workforce health and productivity, plus an introduction into the bigger picture around the support available to businesses operating in the sport sector.
8.30 - 9.30 am - 2 x 30 minute table top discussions. Your chance to gain an overview of: (1) LRS Business of Sport Network and (2) Wellbeing @Work. Find out how your business could get involved and benefit from the local support available.
9.30 - 10.00 am - Opportunity to talk to local area representatives and explore local links and opportunities or attendees.
10.00 - 10.30 am - Open networking and discussion time.
10.30 - 12.00 noon - Available to independent meetings with businesses.
