Sat 18th January, 2020, 10am to 1pm
See birds close and find out about the art of bird ringing, a survey method that gives us an insight into the lives of our native birds.
The demonstration will be lead by volunteers from the Charnwood Bird Ringers group, who are fully trained and licensed to carry out this work. Bird ringing helps us track the movements of birds, and gives us lots of crucial information to help conservation efforts.
The sessions will take place at:
Stonebow Washlands local nature reserve
Mount Grace road
We will run two 1h30 sessions, starting at 10am and 11.30am
