Charnwood's main shopping can be found in the market town of Loughborough, but there are also countless smaller shops and boutiques in the Borough's villages and small towns. Loughborough and the villages also have an excellent number of restaurants of all kinds.

Indian Cuisine is particularly good, but there are also good Chinese and Thai, as well as traditional restaurants.

The Rushes as lots of famous high street names,however it's the thriving markets that Loughborough is most famous for.

Other main shopping Centres include: Thurmaston, Syston, Barrow upon Soar, Shepshed and Birstall.

Loughborough is home to some 15,000 students from the world famous University so as you might expect there's no shortage of pubs, clubs and bars and cinemas in the town!
