What Is the Big Switch Off?
The Big Switch Off Is an Energy Efficiency Campaign to Encourage Resident, Schools and Businesses to Switch Off Lights and Electrical Appliances Like Televisions, Dvd Players and Games Consoles When They Are Not Being Used. The Big Switch Off Helps People Save Energy, Save Money and Look After the Environment by Reducing the Carbon Emissons That Cause Global Warming.
The campaign was started by Leicestershire local authorities and supported by Central Networks, the Rural Community Council, Womens Institute and ENABLE.
