Local Development Scheme

The Local Development Scheme is the timetable for producing the planning documents that will make up the local development framework. The scheme tells you when documents will be produced and when you can expect to get involved.
A new Local Development Scheme was approved by the Council's Cabinet on 7th July 2011 and brought into effect on 18th August 2011. It sets out:
• the local development documents that the Borough Council will prepare and the timetable for their preparation;
• the policies the Council saved from the existing Borough of Charnwood Local Plan; and
• a timetable for preparing a revised Statement of Community Involvement.
