Older People's Housing Strategy
Whilst the SHMAA provides information about the housing needs of older people this does not take account of their aspirations. In recognition of this, the Leicester and Leicestershire Housing Market Partnership (HMA) and EMRA commissioned The Salford Housing & Urban Studies Unit to undertake a qualitative assessment of the future housing needs and aspirations of older people across Leicestershire to inform the development of strategic services for this section of the population.
