Description | Two cottages, c1840. Granite rubble stone with buff brick quoins, dressings, ornamental eaves and Swithland slate roof, hipped to left, with two buff brick ridge stacks of three linked flues each. In Tudor style with hoodmoulds to ground floor and shouldered brick coped gables with kneelers. Small projecting gable to left. Two storeys of three 2 light casements. Central Tudor arched doorway with plank door. On left end a small projecting gable to right with 1/1 sash and 2 light casement over. Central Tudor arched doorway and 4 panelled door and a 1 light window both floors to left. Included for group value. |
