Description | Originally a Hotel, replacing earlier Bull?s Head Hotel demolished for road widening. Now operated by ViceVersa as a licensed premises. Built c1930. Italianate Pastiche. Ground storey much altered to follow fashion. Brick built. Painted brick to GF storey, red brick above. Pitched slate roof. 5 bays. 2 projecting Italianate bays framed by stone pilasters crowned by half dormer pediment with dentilated eaves. Pilasters stopped on painted cornice crowning GF storey. 3 storeys. Brick rubbers to flat arched 1st and 2nd floor window openings but with unhappy replacement casement windows. |
