Description | Farmhouse of early C18. Brick, with plain tiled roof on slight stone plinth. 2 storeys, L plan. Central doorway to main range leading to a through passage behind stack with a 6-panel door beneath a minimal pedimented porch. Cambered head, to casement windows. Small dormer gable to left hand of main facade and later gabled wing to left with large blocked window on inner face. To rear, a window blocked with Measham Gobs, various roofing materials and casement windows. Adjoining the rear of the house a brick and stone barn with pantiled roof and bullseye ventilation holes. |
