John Lee's Cottage, Markfield Lane, Newtown Linford (Locally Listed)

Private House. Perhaps Late C18 in origin and remodelled at various times. Vernacular styling. Possibly part stone and part brick built, rendered and painted. Swithland slate pitched roof with 3 pitched roof dormers. 3 tall brick stacks - 2 ridge stacks and 1 gable stack ?T? shaped on plan, part 2 storey including roof space, part single storey. Generally new stained casement windows, some with shallow arched heads.
Adjacent red brick barn probably Early C19 with later single storey extension. Brick arches to GF openings. Swithland slate roof.
