| Description | Shop & Offices (Moore & York, Estate Agents). Late C19 but with crude Late C20 shop front. Stripped Gothic Revival. Red brick with blue brick and yellow brick string courses. Hipped slate roof with deep eaves and dentilated stone cornice. Off centre stubby ridge stack, perhaps reduced. 3 storeys with 2 storey annexe of similar date but not part of original building. Segmental arched heads to 1st floor openings with alternate red/blue brick voussoirs. Vertical sliding sash windows with narrow margin panes to 1st & 2nd floor. Under eaves, framed by blue brick string courses, containing repetitive ?cross? motif in yellow brick. |
