|Description||School, now a Day Nursery. Late C19. Gothic/Domestic Revival styling. Random Mountsorrel granite with buttresses. Dressed stone quoins, window surrounds and copings. Steep pitched Swithland slate roof with upstanding gables and decorative terra-cotta ridge. Stone dentillated string course under eaves. Lead flashed ?stubby? lantern on School Lane ridge. French influenced 3rd pointed openings to Pinfold St gable. Schoolhouse, now annexe to Nursery. Contemporary with school, similar in style but plainer. ?T? shaped plan with stubby ridge stack centred on intersection of pitched roofs.|
