From Tuesday January 31, the Council Tax team will be contacting customers via email and text message to encourage them to choose to pay their upcoming 2023/24 Council Tax bills by Direct Debit and to also view their bills online.

The text message and emails will contain links to the Council’s Direct Debit portal so the customer can provide their bank details safely and securely. The council tax account will be updated prior to the annual bill being produced and payments will then commence in April.

Customers wishing to view and manage their account online via the Council’s secure portal will be asked to reply YES to the email they have been sent, and the team will do the rest.
