The Council is seeking a Head of Regulatory Services and Community Safety, a senior role within the organisation which is part of our Corporate Leadership Team.

The Regulatory Services teams help local businesses comply with the relevant legislation in the environmental, food, licensing and health and safety fields. We take a proactive and supportive approach to working with businesses in Charnwood to help them succeed and prosper, aligning with our corporate priority to create a thriving local economy.

Community Safety is the other element to this key position. Keeping our communities safe is the responsibility of several agencies, and this role is pivotal in developing, nurturing, and shaping the positive, proactive relationships we have with key partners in Charnwood.

This is a permanent, full-time role (37 hours a week) and the salary grade is: Grade JNC C (SCP 58-61) £63,062 to £67,221. The closing date for applications is February 22, 2023.
