Improvements to Queen's Park Café

The Council is improving the outdoor seating area at Queen’s Park Café, next to Charnwood Museum in Loughborough.

The majority of the improvement work has been completed apart from the new planting and furniture which is hoping to be installed soon.

• Installation of a new canopy to offer visitors more protection from the weather
• An illuminated archway to the café entrance along with additional lighting
• New paving and steps removed to make the area level and improve accessibility

The improvements are part of the £2.87 million Living Loughborough project which is being led by Charnwood Borough Council, in partnership with Love Loughborough BID.

Loughborough Town Deal secured £16.9 million from the Government’s Towns Fund and is backing 11 projects, which in total are worth more than £40 million of investment for the town.

Café opening hours

The cafe has now returned to opening 7 days a week. 

• Monday-Saturday 9.30am
• Sunday 10am
