Plans and Policies

Below is our Single Equality and Diversity Strategy which outlines at a high level our commitment to equality and diversity. The individual equality schemes for disability, gender and race are all subject to review after 3 years, therefore a new single scheme will be published which will:

  • ensure that we re-focus our priorities and ensure that we are tackling the most relevant and significant issues to bring about equality for disability, gender and race
  • base these actions on current evidence and the views of staff and stakeholders
  • reflect on what we have achieved and to focus on where more work is required, and
  • make sure that our scheme accurately reflects our current business and gives attention to areas that have changed
