Climate Change Grants for Communities

£200 Climate Action Parish Grant 

Charnwood Together are offering a grant to fund climate and carbon reduction activity coordinated by Parish Council’s in the local communities. 

Each parish should choose a climate change themed project e.g. energy, water, green spaces. Charnwood Together will deliver a presentation at the launch of the project and provide the £200 grant to run your project.

The only restrictions are that the project is delivered within 6 months of receiving the grant and that the community members benefit directly from the chosen project.

Activity can be carried by Parish Council’s in collaboration with any active community, faith or volunteer group e.g. local allotment association, brownies & scouts groups, youth club, sheltered accommodation, or schools.
