Description | Two former parish boundary stones of c1800. Triangular Swithland slate stones (similar to milestone) stand outside Longdale Cottage outhouse and c50m to left. The former is inscribed on two faces Longdale: Woodhouse and the latter Newtown Linford : Longdale. They marked the boundaries of the former tiny parish of Longdale.
