Care home package

Keeping active whilst living in sheltered accommodation – Physical activity training for care workers! 

The Charnwood Sports and Active Recreation Team have devised a care package to support carers, volunteers and activity coordinators to encourage residents to get more active.

It includes:

• Chair-based physical activity
• Low intensity games such as boccia, target games, seated volleyball and audio basketball.
• Additional support with funding and continuous training and development opportunities for staff.
