The Virtual Citizens' Panel are a group of residents from across Charnwood who are asked for their views on a range of issues affecting local people.

The feedback from the panel helps us to shape our services and plan for the future so we can deliver the services you want us to. Ideally, we’d like the panel to reflect the diverse population of Charnwood and would like as many members as possible.

How does it work?

When we’re making decisions about our services – from bin collections to Council Tax – we’ll invite you to answer some questions about it, telling us what you think. The questions can be sent in the post or completed online.

Don’t worry, we won’t bombard you with surveys and you don’t have to fill in every one, just as and when you have the time.

What happens to my answers?

Your responses will be taken into account when decisions about services are made. We will also let you know the results of the entire survey and the outcomes through a newsletter and on the website.

Individual responses will remain confidential.

How do I join?

If you would like to be involved in completing questionnaires and surveys produced by Charnwood Borough Council about the services that we provide, you can apply to join by completing an application form using one of the following methods:
