Dishley Pool
This lake is situated next to Derby Road Playing Fields off Cotton Way, Loughborough, LE11 5FJ and covers an area of some 8.7 acres. It is used mainly for general leisure purposes and angling by the general public. There is a small car park at Derby Road Playing Fields that is locked at dusk. Fishing is prohibited in the wildlife area to the south and east.

Dishley pool is one of a number of important wildlife sites within Loughborough.It supports a wealth of wildlife from Dragonflies to wildfowl to Otters,it is also important for people to enjoy walks,fishing and peaceful leisure .To make sure visitors and wildlife can all benefit there is a need for Voluntary Wardens to monitor the wildlife and to show visitors the value of the site.If you can make a commitment and would like to get involved please contact Access to Nature on 01509 634975 or 07718807322
