The Christmas and New Year arrangements for the Leicester Road and Nanpantan Road cemeteries in Loughborough are:

• No bookings available at Nanpantan Cemetery on Wednesday December 27, 2023
• Friday December 22, 2023 - To make a booking please call 01530 454595 before 1pm. The last interment will be at 12pm.

Closed on Monday December 25 and Tuesday December 26, 2023.

Please call the following numbers between 9am and 3.30pm to notify of any interments on:

Calls received by 9am on Wednesday December 27, 2023 – Burials can take place on December 27, but not at Nanpantan Road Cemetery. Calls received after 9am - Burials will take place on Thursday December 28.

Calls received by 9am on Thursday December 28, 2023 - Burials can take place on December 28. Calls received after 9am - Burials will take place on Friday December 29.

Calls received by 9am on Friday December 29, 2023 - Burials can take place on December 29. Calls received after 9am on Friday December 29 - Burials will take place on Tuesday January 2, 2024.

Please note that due to staffing availability over the Christmas and New Year period burial times may be limited, therefore could you please make sure you check with the team to see if the time slot you require is available before you give a definite commitment to the deceased family.

If arrangements are to be made for the above dates notice of interment forms should be sent to charnwood@nwleicestershire.gov.uk no later than 10am on Tuesday January 2, 2024.
