The Loughborough RSPB Group invite you to join them on a birdwatching coach trip to Fairburn Ings and Old Moor RSPB Reserves in Yorkshire.
Fairburn Ings near Castleford West Yorkshire protects a complex of wetland habitats created by subsidence in a former coal mining area.
They include open water, wet grassland, reedbed and wet woodland. Other habitats, including dry grassland, deciduous woodland and lagoons, have been restored on the former coal spoil heaps.
Situated right at the heart of the Dearne Valley, Old Moor near Barnsley is a wonderful place to come and watch wildlife. The skies, fields and open water are teeming with birds throughout the year.
Expected cost £25 + Admission
