With an online Council Tax account you can:
- view your payment history
- view a breakdown of charges and payments in previous years
- view copies of letters we’ve sent to you
- apply for single person discount
- notify us of a change of address
- set up or change a Direct Debit
- search for a Council Tax band
- apply for a student exemption/discount
If you have a problem accessing your Council Tax account
If you have forgotten your password, please click on the 'I forgot my password' link on the login screen. Follow the instructions given with regards to providing your username and security question. Please make sure that the answer to the security question is given exactly as you would have when you created the account.
If you have failed to answer the security question correctly you will not be sent a reset password email. However, please check your spam/junk folders.
If you do not receive your reset email within 10 minutes, you may wish to try resetting your password again via the portal and it will give you another chance to answer the security question. If you are still unsuccessful please contact the Council Tax team for further assistance via the following email firstname.lastname@example.org.
How do I reset my username for the E-Billing account?
If you have forgotten your username, please click on the 'I forgot my username' link on the login screen. Follow the instructions to provide the email address you used to originally create your E-Billing account. As instructed, if you do not use the correct email address you will not be notified and you should contact the Council Tax team on email@example.com if you do not receive your email within 10 minutes.
You can always retry to reset your username using another possible email address that was used when creating the E-Billing account.
