E-billing (or paperless billing) is another way to view your Council Tax bill.

Instead of receiving paper bills you will be able to view your Council Tax bill online.

By signing up for e-billing you agree to have your Council Tax bill delivered electronically until you tell us otherwise. When a new bill is issued you will receive an email with your new bill attached.

Benefits of e-billing

E-billing means you can view your bills when and where you like and cuts down on unnecessary postage.

If you need evidence of where you live, you will still also be able to print off a copy of your bill.

How to sign up

Firstly, you will need to sign in or register for an account.

Sign in or register for an account

Once you have an account registered, follow the instructions below.

Registration

  1. From the Welcome screen, click 'Sign in / register' to display the login screen.
  2. Click 'Register' to display the registration screen.
  3. Enter details as required.
  4. Confirm that you have read the Terms and Conditions.
  5. Either click on the checkbox in the reCAPTCHA box or use the puzzle slider as required.
  6. Select interests or promotions as required.
  7. Click 'Register' to register your account.
  8. You will be sent an email containing a link to activate your account. Your account will not be active until you follow the link in the email. Please check your Junk folder if you do not see the email in your Inbox.
  9. Click the link in the email to complete your registration.

Each time the paperless billing link is clicked from the council tax summary page, you will be taken to the terms and conditions.

Firstly, on the 'Terms and Conditions' page, all the liable people will be listed in a dropdown without their email address. Each person will be able to select their name and accept the 'terms and conditions' before proceeding to 'Paperless Billing' page.

If there is a sole liable person, then the dropdown will be set with that liable person and not editable. You will then be asked to agree to the terms and conditions.
