Loughborough East By-election, Thursday May 2, 2024

Notice is given that one casual vacancy has arisen in the office of Councillors for the Loughborough East ward due to a resignation. To cause an election, any two electors of the Borough should formally notify the Returning Officer and request an election for the said ward.

• Deadline to submit nominations – Friday, 5 April 2024 at 4pm
• Publication of Statements of Persons Nominated – No later than Monday, 8 April 2024
• Last Date for Registration – Tuesday, 16 April 2024 at midnight
• Receipt of Postal Vote Applications – Wednesday, 17 April 2024 at 5pm
• Receipt of Proxy Vote Applications – Wednesday, 24 April 2024 at 5pm
• Receipt of a Application for a Voter Authority Certificate – Wednesday, 24 April 2024 at 5pm
• Receipt of Emergency Proxy Vote Applications – Thursday, 2 May 2024 at 5pm
• Day of Poll – Thursday, 2 May 2024 from 7am to 10pm
• Counting of the votes – Friday, 3 May 2024
