We’ve been made aware that roadworks are due to begin from 10am on Friday April 26 on Dustmoor Drive, Inglesant Close, Fewkes Close and Turlington Close in Quorn. As a result, our bin crews are asking residents to ensure their bins are presented for collection from 6am.

The borough council has produced an Economic Development Strategy for Charnwood.

The strategy sets out priorities and objectives to help create a stronger economy over the next two years.

The strategy sets out four priority areas, places and infrastructure; business environment, people and innovation.

It commits to re-imagining town centres, creating a fertile business environment for growth and marketing Charnwood as a destination of choice for visitors. It also prioritises building a skilled workforce, encouraging entrepreneurship and strengthening Charnwood’s excellence in science, innovation and advanced manufacturing.
