We are responsible for the management and maintenance of award-winning green spaces and landscaping in Loughborough, including many villages across the borough.

Parks in many of the villages and towns across Charnwood are usually maintained by the local town or parish councils.
The Council manages 44 play areas across Charnwood. Town and Parish councils within Charnwood own and manage other play areas.

Stonebow Washlands is in Thorpe Acre and is accessible from Mount Grace Road, off Maxwell Drive (Kinchbus no. 12 stops a short walk away on Maxwell Drive).
Created in the 1980s the main role of the Washlands is to provide flood alleviation, but it is also a rich wildlife site and provides informal recreation for local residents.
Stonebow Washlands is designated a Local Wildlife Site (previously known as Sites of Importance for Nature Conservation SINC).
This former clay pit is situated off Tuckers Road, Loughborough, LE11 2PH and covers an area of some 27.12 acres.
It is used mainly for leisure purposes by the general public and has both a car park and disabled toilets.
