Revocation of the 2021 Experimental Order at Southfields Office car park

During the pandemic Charnwood Borough Council supported the NHS by hosting a vaccination centre in the Council Offices.

To support this successful initiative, free parking was put in place for members of the public attending for their vaccination jabs. This was achieved by putting in place an ‘emergency’ Experimental Parking Places Order which allowed the public to use the car park when they would otherwise have not been allowed.

The vaccination hub vacated the Council offices in March 2022. Therefore, the car park will be returned to its former operating hours and charges.

The Experimental Off Street Parking Places Order at Southfields is to be revoked from June 6, 2022.
