Premier League Kicks uses the power of football to connect with young people in some of the most high-need areas of the UK. It is a community programme that enables Leicester City in the Community to work with hundreds of children in both the city and county.

Leicester City in the Community x Leicester Riders Foundation

As part of the PL Kicks programme Leicester City in the Community have partnered with Leicester Riders Foundation to deliver new basketball sessions! Open to young people aged 12-17yrs!

Basketball session for girls aged 12+

In partnership with Loughborough Female Fitness we have developed a girls 12 + basketball session.

Takes place weekly at Delisle Catholic School, Thorpe Hill, Loughborough LE11 4SQ on Wednesday's from 6pm until 7pm. All abilities welcome. Led by a qualified sports coach.

Another option is the parkrun, which is a weekly FREE 5km timed run for people of all ages. Head to the parkrun webpage for more details and to register for the event. 

Beat The Street

Beat the Street is an innovative physical activity game that has engaged more than a million people.

Beat the Street is an inclusive game that encourages you to run, walk or cycle between Beat Boxes to earn points - hovering your fob or card over the Beat Boxes. The further you travel, the more points you score!

It is free to take part in Beat the Street and it is open to everyone regardless of age, ability or background.

The game is coming to Loughborough between March 2 and March 30, 2022.

Prior to the game, primary school pupils from participating schools will be provided with fobs while parents and teachers received a card from the school so they could accompany children.

Anyone in the community is able to take part and can pick up fobs from a number of distribution points.

Beat the Street Loughborough will be delivered by Active Charnwood, Active Together and the North Charnwood Sport & Physical Activity Network.

Urban Foxes Parkour

In partnership with Fusion Lifestyle, Leicester City in the Community are running weekly Urban Foxes Parkour sessions for 8-16yr olds! Learn new skills, get active and meet new people!

When: Wednesdays

Where: Loughborough Leisure Centre

Time: 5.15pm-6pm (8-11yrs), 6pm-6.45pm (12-16yrs)
