We organise fun-filled Holiday Activity Programmes for children, encouraging them to try a wide range of sports and activities.
These run during the February half-term, Easter holidays, Summer holidays and October half-term and take place throughout Charnwood.
Holiday Activity Programme - Summer 2021
The Active Charnwood team has put together a five-week programme of holiday activities for residents of Charnwood this summer, designed to help children and their families stay active over the school holidays.

All events/sessions will be Covid secure and will follow the latest Government advice on Covid security at all times. Covid security measures including a limit on numbers and hand sanitiser stations will be in place to help keep people safe.
The programme will offer sessions for children and the whole family including den building, orienteering, family Olympics and love family fit.
The programme starts on Monday July 19 and finishes on Friday August 20.
The majority of activities will take place outdoors at locations across the borough including Loughborough, Shepshed and Barrow.
Bouldering is the only activity which will take place indoors and will be hosted at the Climbing Station in Loughborough.
Discounts are available for Wild Card holders. If you are aged five to 16, or have a disability, and live or go to school in Charnwood, you may be able to sign up to the Wild Card scheme via the website.

Bookings are now open and spaces can be booked below, with the price of sessions starting at £6.
Card payment is required at the time of booking. Please note: Bookings for each event close 24 hours before they take place.

Photos and videos
It is a possibility that there will be some photography and filming done throughout our activity programmes. Parents or guardians will be asked for consent during the bookings process. No photos or videos will be taken unless consent is given by a parent or guardian.
