The Thursday and Saturday market will continue to operate in Loughborough selling essential goods only while we are under national Covid-19 restrictions.
The Friday market in Shepshed will be running with only essential goods on sale.
The Friday Vintage market in Loughborough will not be running while national restrictions are in place.
Loughborough Markets
Our award-winning Loughborough retail market has been part of the town’s history for almost 800 years and is rich in character, atmosphere and colour.
The market stalls sell an eclectic range of products from fresh produce to confectionary, clothing to household goods.
In 2017, Loughborough retail market won the Best Large Outdoor Market of the year award. It was recognised for the support it gives to traders and its work with Loughborough University.

Opening times
Loughborough retail market is held every Thursday and Saturday in the Market Place from 8am to 4pm.
Other retail markets
Shepshed also hold a retail market every Friday in Hallcroft.
Specialist markets
Once a month Market Place holds host to a farmers’ market, which showcases a range of local, organic and artisan food and drink. For those in search of hidden treasures there is a vintage and Collectors market held every Friday.
