Charnwood Community Action Stars

Due to essential maintenance being carried out by Pay360, customers may experience online payment disruptions on Sunday July 5 between 4:30-6:30am and Tuesday July 7 between 6-7am. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Residents in Leicester and its outlying areas, including Birstall, Thurmaston and Wanlip in Charnwood, are to be asked to continue to follow stricter lockdown restrictions for at least two weeks, and non-essential shops will be closed. More information - including frequently asked questions and a postcode checker - can be found at www.charnwood.gov.uk/restrictions.

We want to know about local stars helping communities during the coronavirus pandemic.

As part of Charnwood Community Action, a campaign by the borough council and John Storer Charnwood and others to support communities in this difficult time, we're asking people to nominate their Charnwood Community Action Stars.

Give a public thanks to those who are fetching shopping, prescriptions, checking on neighbours with phone calls or for getting involved in one of the many community groups which have been formed to help their fellow neighbours and other people.

To tell us about your Charnwood Community Action Stars, all you need to do is complete a simple online form explaining who they are and what they’ve done.
