The Neighbourhood and Partnerships team offer a range of services for these organisations. This includes one to one support, training and resources to build capacity for a vibrant and resilient Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS).

Charnwood Community Grants
Charnwood Borough Council recognises the value and contribution of individuals, voluntary sector organisations and other community-led projects and the benefits they provide to the residents of Charnwood.
Each year, the Council invites Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) organisations to apply for funding to deliver projects in the borough through a range of grants programmes.

Charnwood Community Lottery
The Charnwood Community Lottery allows community groups to fundraise for their projects in the borough. Registering as a ‘Good Cause’ is easy, there is no cost to local groups and tickets sales are managed by the borough council.

Provides access to a range of support, information and resources related to Grants and Funding. Information provided here includes a series of Funding Bulletins, from a range of funders, along with details of support provided to voluntary and community sector groups, charities and social enterprises, by other relevant organisations.
Voluntary Action Leicestershire
Provides a range of support for voluntary and community sector groups. This includes information, advice and training around setting up a community group/organisation; fundraising and income generation; assistance with reviewing grant applications; recruiting and managing volunteers; and business and sustainability planning for your organisation.
The Leicestershire Funding Toolkit
Contains a range of useful information for voluntary/community groups, including a Funding Database, which you can register on to search for potential sources of funding for your community group/project.
Provides access to information on grant funding opportunities from local, national and international funding sources as well as social investment from a range of providers. Registration is free for small organisations and there is an annual subscription for larger organisations.
